Just kidding...

Still bringing Dell boxes running Debian instead of xserves?

Only Ubuntu Server for us so no reason to pay the premium for Xserve's, even if they come in Intel flavours these days!

Oh ah, Andrew's site.. yes, working on it :)
Dude, you're sweating (in the picture that is) ;-) btw, speaking of dell vs xserve: how in the hell can I connect to xserver using a *free* RD tool? (no ssh client)

Apple Remote Desktop? Unfortunately that is not a free product! Install OSXVnc and be done with it. The guys from XS4all can take care of that for you.

sweat? where? :)

I know, hence the word *free* ;) 300U$ for a simple connection is a bit tad. Anywayz, I was refering to the sweat on thy forehead, it must be blazing there!

So, ask the guys @ XS4all to install OSXVnc on the Xserve, then you'll be able to login with any VNC client. Either that or they should fork up the $300 for you :)

XS4ALL is contractually obligated to keep the temp. in a specific range, I think it's somewhere between 15-25 c. If the cooling towers give out temps rise to 40c in about an hour (or so I was told), quite a bit of the colo fee actually goes to the cooling installation! The sweat is probably more from my excitement ;)
